Asset Manager - LIHTC

Beacon Property Management, Inc. is an independent, unaffiliated fee-management company based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  At present, Beacon Property Management, Inc. manages in excess of 8,500 residential units and 2,000,000 square feet of office, retail and industrial facilities throughout California.

The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately 25 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties in accordance with our management agreements. 

Responsibilities will include:Monitor a portfolio of properties from leaseup through operational stabilization. Process requests for release of equity, including disbursement funded through construction loan draws. Monitor and analyze financial performance of properties in portfolio. Conduct property inspections and report findings Review operating budgets for each property in portfolio.

Requirements:

Must have previous multi-family affordable housing (LIHTC) experience with a minimum of three years direct experience as an asset manager.  (General property management experience does not qualify as asset management experience.)  The candidate must be familiar with the general principles of real estate, including operations and analysis, budging, financial reporting, general accounting and lending practices.  Strong financial statement familiarity is required, as is a general comfort left with real estate contracts.  Strong analytical skills are required, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and strong computer (Excel) skills.
