We are currently looking for a Real Estate Accountant.

 

This position will be responsible for the analytical process as it relates to revenue and cost management for company leases and tenants. 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Revenue Management

?  Review and research tenant?s accounts, maintain complete tenant files.

?  Interpret sub-tenants lease obligations.

?  Maintain and prepare detailed records for immediate and yearly billbacks to tenants and sub-tenants for common area maintenance, real estate taxes, insurance, etc.

?  Contact with tenants for collection and account related issues.

?  Prompt processing of tenant changes.Cost Management

?  Analyze and audit common area maintenance invoices for opened and closed locations.

?  Maintain Security Deposits.

?  Prepare percent rent schedules and payments; keep up-to-date records. 

?  Keep and update files (rent, CAM, percent rent, insurance).

?  Updates to escrow amounts in Domain database.

?  Prompt processing of payments.

?  Interpretation of real estate documents and leases for financial and accounting impact.

?  Work closely with staff accountant.

?  Assist with special projects.Requirements:

SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE:BA in Accounting/Finance.Two to five years experience in real estate.Strong technical skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.Oracle and/or Domain CS highly desirable.
