ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our office located in St. Louis, MO. ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – St. Louis, MO Responsibilities: Assist the General Manger as required. Respond to Owner and Tenant requests. Provide guidance and supervision to Property Services Assistant. Calculate monthly tenant additional billings and provide to the owner’s accounting department. Review rent statements and additional billings for accuracy once received from accounting. Track and report accruals monthly to owner’s accounting department. Provide monthly report/variance explanations to General Manager. Assist General Manager with annual budget preparations. Solicit and qualify proposals for service contracts/building projects. Submit recommendations to the contracts department for execution. Enter payroll for bi-weekly/hourly employees. Verify accuracy of time sheets with Chief Engineer. Report any incidents/possible insurance claims to the owner and the owner’s insurance representative following the procedures mandated by the owner. Enforce all building rules and regulations with tenants, visitors, and contractors. Available to be on call 24/7 if needed (if General Manager is not available). Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably business/financial) 3+ years previous experience with commercial/office building property management Current Missouri Real Estate Salesperson License Excellent customer service skills Written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency in Excel Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
