Merrill is an acknowledged leader in providing electronic and paper document and information management services to many of the most successful corporations throughout the world.  A fast-growing company with revenues in excess of $1 Billion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our digital print team.  Our current opportunity is for a certified Xerox trained iGen3 Operator. SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates multiple Xerox iGen digital color printers. Performs document and graphic image downloads from various electronic and networked sources. Follows and executes print runs assigned by scheduler. Maintain a high level of production output. Monitors print quality by pulling samples during print run. Performs routine calibration and printer profiling. Experience with variable information workflows and preflight and files preparation; the ability to recognize issues and knowledge of paper stocks is preferred. Performs routine operator maintenance. Orders supplies and maintain adequate supplies on hand. Completes paperwork and system records as required. Comply with all safety rules. Flexible to work overtime and some weekends.   REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION & OTHER INFORMATION: Proficient operation of iGen digital printer. Xerox iGen3 certification is required. Experience with DocUSP preferred.  Experience in a print production environment. Knowledge of basic color theory, desktop application and color correction, color calibration process and instruments, color management and ICC color profiling. Ability to work in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft applications. Ability to perform well in pressure situations and ability to multitask in order to exceed customer expectations. Self-motivated, with high quality standards and strong organization skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a quick turnaround environment. Ability to give and follow instructions. This position experiences periods of standing for long periods of time as well as walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Competitive salary and full benefits package to include: medical, dental, life, disability and 401k plans
