White Page Specialist
*This is a temporary position*
Produce white page section of Yellow Book USA directories by proofing and editing utility and revenue information.
• Evaluate reports and note listings that need to be corrected per company standards.
• Complete the correction of white page listings in Diad on composed directories.
• Proof and edit final pages for content in time for printer shipment date.
• Run reports for various items relating to the correction of white page listings in DIAD.
• Meet all department market deadlines.
• Proof and query contract listings and artwork to ensure accuracy of final pages.
• Make calls to verify listing numbers.
• Work overtime as needed.
1 year job related experience preferred. High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.
Data Entry - 6,000 GKPH required. Proofing tests (address, number and spelling).
Spelling & vocabulary skills, organizational skills, decision making skills, attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to maintain concentration and to multi task. Must be able to manipulate a keyboard, sit, handle paperwork and watch a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. Must be comfortable calling customers to verify number listings.
