Pressroom shift supervisor needed for this nationally known leader in the printing industry:






The supervisor for this large union-free heatset web offset printing pressroom will be a part of the leadership of press operations, and is responsible for production, quality, training, leadership, performance evaluation and feedback and profitability along with peers and department management.  This is a professional supervisory role and as such, no hands-on press operation is performed by the supervisor.This company is a very stable and profitable operation with good benefits, pay and professional management.  Location is in beautiful Virginia, with easy access to mountains and historic sites, as well as the I-81 corridor providing quick access both North and South.

To qualify for this supervisory position, candidates should have:Several years experience supervising a large heatset web offset press operation, printing quality materials. Excellent technical knowledge of heatset web offset presses. Experience in working in concert with Maintenance for press installations, retro-fitting, maintenance and training of press crews. A record of continuous employment with the same company and steady progression in a printing career. Must have a good working knowledge of heatset web offset presses, as well as good computer skills. Good mechanical knowledge and experience is a must. Ability and willingness to work any shift.
