As we transform from a print-centric publisher to a digital media leader in the industry, we need a savvy Web Editor to propel our digital products to the next level.  This position will be responsible for posting all website content for the online component of Produce Merchandising Magazine, Citrus & Vegetable Magazine, and The Grower Magazine, and for creating or otherwise acquiring original content for the websites and their e-newsletters.  The Web Editor also assists in proofreading the print editions of these publications.

 

Given the nature of this role, qualified candidates will possess the following:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience2-5 years of relevant work experienceBasic working knowledge of HTMLWorking knowledge of PhotoShop, Fireworks or other graphics programAttention to detail Ability to work under tight deadlinesJournalism/AP-style knowledge a plusKnowledge of basic e-mail marketing principles and limitationsFamiliarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and practices
