As a Web Developer for PR Newswire, working in our Jersey City, NJ office, your primary task will be to design and build HTML and graphical components for our websites. You will work with technical and business stakeholders to develop creative looks and feels, production-ready content, tweak existing websites, and more. Your advanced abilities with HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, your working knowledge of XML (and XSLT), and any talents you possess with other Web 2.0 technologies (AJAX, Flash, Silverlight, etc.) will serve as your technical foundation for this role. Your knack for thinking outside the box, your interest in contributing to projects outside the scope of your defined responsibilities, and your capability of working independently and managing yourself will allow you to establish yourself as a key member of our technology team. Most importantly, you will be counted on to take all of this and communicate with the business side in non-technical language where necessary, and take non-technical requirements and produce the desired technical results.
