Warehouse Assistant
Merion Publications Inc. is the company behind the popular ADVANCE Healthcare Shop featuring apparel, accessories, gifts and more, customized for today’s healthcare professionals. We carry more than 4,000 products for over 50 medical and allied healthcare specialties. All work for the Healthcare Shop is done in-house – from product selection, Web development, marketing, customer service and warehousing, all the way to fulfillment.
The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in all material handling and warehousing functions within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
§ Pick customer orders as requested.
§ Properly package outgoing customer orders.
§ Ship customer orders via UPS or USPS.
§ Process and putaway incoming receipts.
§ Prepare special events orders as instructed.
§ Process customer returns.
§ General housekeeping and trash removal.
§ Embroidery
Requirements:
§ A high school diploma or equivalent
§ Prior experience in a fulfillment/ warehouse environment a plus
§ Must be able to do repetitive lifting of packages weighing up to 45 lb
§ Attention to detail
§ Basic oral and written communication skill
§ Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
§ PC literate
§ Responsible, dependable and hard working
