Sr. Software Engineer

Description:Applies technical and tactical expertise in the execution of complex projects. Determines requirements, establishes priorities & monitors progress. Works on assigned projects, coordinates and communicates with internal departments work load. Evaluates project status and implements changes to improve effectiveness.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:BA/BS degree in Computer Science, BCIS or related field or equivalent related work experience.4+ years experience in developing and implementing application solutions including utilizing middleware technologies.Demonstrated understanding of software development using full life-cycle methods (SDLC, RUP, SCRUM).Strong n-tier application development skills requiredFamiliar with phases and major deliverables of architecture.Able to quality assure test plans, designs and code.Understands the rationale and principles of model architectures including business requirements, principles, frameworks, architectures and blueprints.Working knowledge of project management technology and approaches.Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.Flexibility and ability to work with multiple priorities and collaboratively with development team.Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, non-technical personnel & clients at their level, and to represent Company with sr. executives and clients.Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Expert level knowledge (Certification or equivalent desired) of several of the following:  XML, VB.Net, ASP.NET, VB6, ODBC/JDBC, Oracle, SqlServerWorking knowledge of one or more of the following:, BizTalk, .Net,, MSMQ, TCP/IP low level API. Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 4 years professional related experience and previous supervisory experience.
