ReadersDigest.com, the online division to Reader's Digest, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Editor to help grow and develop its website. We are looking for a self-starter with fresh ideas, strong creativity and product vision who can juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include: Manage Community-based Make Your Mark section of site, which includes overseeing the development and launch of new interactive tools, newsletters and other product enhancements in this area of the site. Partner with Business Development team to provide editorial support for content-sharing partnerships; select relevant content to go out to our partners, while crafting smart original headlines to drive traffic back. Support ad sales in hitting revenue goal by overseeing execution and implementation of advertising campaigns that integrate seamlessly into the site. Work to drive traffic and impressions to these campaigns. Across site, blend original, repackaged, and user-generated content to create a compelling experience that engages users and encourages repeat visits while maintaining a consistent editorial voice across all content areas. Work with editorial, design and production departments at RDA Interactive. Create engaging programming using RDA's content assets; Integrate photos and video content into programming. Assist in coordinating flow of content between businesses as needed. Analyze data to evaluate success of editorial programs and affect programming choices. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Editor. Required Skills

Strong writing and editing skills, judgment and expertise. Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, XML, blog platforms, RSS) Aware of current trends in web publishing (Web 2.0) and Search Engine Optimization. A clear understanding of web metrics to evaluate all editorial initiatives Ability to experiment with new content promotion strategies to increase traffic and conversion rates Experience optimizing headlines and copy for SEO Ability to editorially program the site for maximum page views Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or Communications with a minimum of 5 years of web content experience Demonstrated ability to establish good relationships with print counterparts Prior experience at a magazine is a plus
