Liturgical Publications, Inc., the long standing national leader in the publication of communication tools, is seeking a detail and quality oriented professional to join its team.  The successful candidate will handle all aspects of shipping, receiving, and tracking shipments.  Excellent communication and customer service skills a MUST.  This is a great entry level opportunity to join a great team in the printing industry.

 

Duties:Determine mode of transportation based on schedule dates, weights, rates and destinationCoordinate shipment details with customer service dept and all shipping carriersUse appropriate computer programs when necessaryPrepare all required documentation for shipmentsDispatch carriers for pick-upObtain freight quotesShip all boxes through appropriate carriers Provide shipping details, tracking and proof of deliveries to intercompany personnel and customers

 

RequirementsStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team environment High School or GED equivalentMust speak and read English including ability to apply written instruction to shipping and tracking proceduresTop notch communication and customer service skills Good math skills, attention to detail, and quality orientationMust possess ability to continuously lift 50 lb. boxes and stand for 10 hour shift.Ability to work overtime as required with a “do whatever it takes� mindsetBe available for Saturday “on call� delivery emergencies.Must pass mandatory pre-hire drug screen
