Senior Product Marketing Manager - eLearning Products
The Corporate Learning division of Harvard Business Publishing is responsible for creating high impact Web-based eLearning products and services that focus on fostering skills for emerging and high potential leaders within the global 2000. We take content and ideas from Harvard Business School and other leading organizations around the world and repurpose this content to create eLearning courses and programs that focus on delivering the skills our clients need to help their employees become successful managers and leaders. The Senior Product Marketing Manager position will work with the marketing team and product team to create go-to-market programs that include product positioning, pricing, sales tools, launch plans and competitive research to help us create demand for our solutions. Our Web-based eLearning products include a mix of content and services wrapped around a technology platform delivery solution.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing. This includes both strategic and tactical responsibilities, such as product messaging, collateral development, sales enablement and external communications.

Additional responsibilities include: Market analysis - gathering and analyzing data from both product development, pilot programs and third party research related to the overall market and competition Ownership of pricing strategy for the Harvard Business Publishing, corporate learning offerings. Quantitative analysis -Â market size, product metrics, operational metrics and win/loss analysis Product and service messaging/positioning based on internal and external data Creation of sales tools e.g., collateral, demos, presentations and white papers. Assisting corporate marketing in creating marketing collateral such as data sheets, white papers, brochures. Developing and executing go to market plans and launch plans. Provide content to the web marketing team. Provide direct sales support - act as a resource for the sales team when tailoring sales tools and messages for specific prospects, unique business challenges, and competitive sales situations. Conduct sales training (webinars; on the road - quarterly sales meetings; new product training and new hire training). Analyze competitive product messages. Provide market segmentation data. Provide ongoing competitive intelligence information to the Corporate Learning group Contribute to the product roadmap, including customer facing roadmap presentations and statements of direction.

Required Skills: Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred, candidates must have at least 7-10 years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager with experience launching new products and growing product revenue Must have significant experience in bringing eLearning products to market Relevant learning industry experience Looking for candidate with demonstrated leadership skills, strong individual initiative and the ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work closely with sales organization in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. Outstanding writing, communications, and analytical skills. Track record of successfully defining, developing and launching new products or existing products into new markets. Experience developing solutions, messaging, position and pricing for specific market segments. Experience building collateral.
