Senior Online Writer
CXO Media Inc. is looking for an experienced web journalist to join CIO.com. Qualified candidates must have at least 3-5 years full-time experience as an online reporter for a news, business or consumer technology website and should be able to show a portfolio of clips with a proven track record of traffic generation. The candidate will have experience reporting on technology news and trends analysis in the information technology sector. Ability to independently develop story ideas for reporting beat is essential. Knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft and Windows is preferred.
Senior online writer responsibilities include reporting and writing daily, short news analysis items, blog posts and how-to content. The writer will work closely with CIO.com editors and participate in regular idea generation meetings, stay current with news and developments in the technology sphere, and are responsible for bringing viable story ideas to the table.
