A consumer publishing company is currently seeking a Senior Online Marketing Manager for their Fairfield county location.

 

Position Overview:

The Senior Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and execution of all online customer acquisition and retention programs, most notably subscription acquisition, cross-promotion, affiliate marketing and e-mail renewal and reactivation for all titles. This individual will take the lead role in executing and optimizing acquisition and testing strategies to increase revenue and profitability as well as drive traffic via our online media channels.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

·  Work directly with the Director to development strategies (launch of new titles, site redesigns, upgrades)Implement the online acquisition strategy for all web products Identify new opportunitiesManage all e-mail marketing projects from start to finish, overseeing design, copywriting, testing, production and analysisWork with internal/external teams to implement strategyProvide weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports and projectionsAnalyze results of all efforts and review findings with managerMake recommendations for future promotions, tests and rolloutsKeep current with the latest industry trends in the search marketing, email marketing and affiliate marketing spaceManage external vendors and resources as requiredManage and grow e-mail subscriber listsDevelop creative ideas into profitable promotional campaignsUtilize your creative sense to communicate ideas/concepts to Copywriters/Designers in order to create online marketing materials Provide Copywriters/Designers/Service Bureaus with necessary assets for successful completion of assignmentsOversee and track work being done by vendors related to specific project assignments to ensure timelines are maintainedDevelop and distribute project outline/timelines to Circulation Directors and other key stakeholders

 Qualifications:At least 3 years of internet experience in subscription marketing with a strong understanding of internet metricsMust be motivated with a solid direct response back groundExperience managing all aspects of e-mail marketing programs including content development, creative design, and key performance metricsDetail oriented, strong analytical skills and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlinesEffective communication skillsMust be a team player with strong organizational and execution skillsAbility to analyze activities and optimize to meet outlined performance goals and objectivesPrior management experience, a plus
