Cultivate your journalism experience as a Senior Associate Editor for our bi-weekly publication, ADVANCE for Nurses, a magazine devoted to nurses practicing in all areas of the profession. Every other week, this award winning publication provides concise, practical information and career development issues, as well as essential industry news and product information.

 

This exciting role will allow you to participate in every aspect of the editorial process: from planning, reporting, writing, editing and assigning articles to gathering images, coordinating with graphic designers and overseeing final production of the magazine.

 

You will be covering all aspects of the nursing industry as you write feature stories and coordinate artwork and photography for print and Web, and work collaboratively with our sales department. Light travel, up to 5 times a year, is required to cover conferences and other meetings.

 

The ideal candidate is a motivated, team player with strong reporting, writing, editing and project management skills in addition to independent decision making skills. A Bachelors degree in English or Journalism is strongly preferred in addition to 4-5 years experience reporting (preferably on a trade and/or medical publication).
