The Pearson Arts & Sciences Division, an innovative, market leading higher education publishing unit of Pearson Education, is currently recruiting for a new sales representative to cover the Jacksonville, FL territory.At Pearson Education, sales representatives visit college campuses and sell our textbook and technology products based on the instructor's course requirements, scout for manuscripts from potential authors, relay market information to the Acquisitions Department and develop relationships with faculty members and bookstore personnel.We are looking for talented salespeople to engage our customers and help us to continue to grow the business.In addition to a highly competitive base salary and uncapped bonus potential, Pearson Sales Representatives receive a company car, all travel expenses, an excellent benefits package and outstanding opportunities for advancement into sales management, marketing management or editorial in one of the finest companies in the country. Base salary is commensurate to experience. Candidates MUST have a 4 year college degree; evidence of top achievement in several aspects of their educational, extracurricular or professional background, high detail-orientation, excellent time management and organizational skills and excellent interpersonal communication abilities. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required.
