This is a regional positon requiring travel to multiple area offices. Candidate needs to be located within the Western Region, close to a major airport.POSITION PROFILE Provides Leadership and Management of Area-based PS Operational functions, management, and staff for the Region. Working with HQ Operations management, identifies common metrics for Area Operations performance. Provides day-to-day direction of Solution Analyst Managers and their duties. Oversees the Statement of Work process, projects, and solution delivery for proper staffing and profitability. Coordinating with Regional Technical Managers, guides Area PS Operations Managers in employee development, career planning, and training of their Solution and Color Analyst Staff. Works with Areas to develop Operational best practices. Works with National Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure full support for Region requirements and deployment on complex projects. Represents the PS HQ team in the field in ensuring policies and procedures are properly understood and executed. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identifies and propagates operational best practices Monitors the productivity and profitability of Area PS Operations teams and leads improvement initiatives Provides leadership in the implementation of software and services delivery Works with Area and HQ PS teams to improve delivery processes and increase productivity Measures effectiveness of the SOW process and audits to ensure full field-based compliance to process Collaborates with National PMO to identify Project Manager candidates and ensure full coverage of project management needs within the Region Coordinates with PMO, HQ, and Area PS Management to ensure Region?s largest projects are properly scoped and controlled Ensures Area-based expertise on IKON?s Premier Solutions offeringsWorks with Area Solution Analysts Managers (SAMs) to lead skill and project management development activities with field resources Identifies skill development needs in each Area and collaborates with SAMs to build training plans for Solution Analyst (SA) teams, and to respond to challenging resource requirements Leads training design and development activities to build in-house knowledge and reduce need for third party expense Tracks SA utilization and develops and implements reports and tools to control unbilled time/overtime Provides operational review of SA billable hours, training matrix, and skill assessments Performs other duties as assigned.
