Production Tech (Maintenance) - PA
Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all equipment in the LSI print shop and in the LSI office facility is maintained properly.
Responsibilities:Equipment maintenance duties include: troubleshooting and repairing all non-IBM serviced equipment as needed and keeping the LSI print shop in a clean and orderly condition at all times.Facility maintenance duties include: replacing pre-filters in the Liebert units, checking all fire extinguishers, and cleaning eye wash station weekly; keeping the inside and outside areas around the trash compactor and the outside break area clean daily; placing service calls to HVAC, plumbing or electrical vendors as needed for repairs and maintenance; and routine maintenance of the building and grounds.
Experience: 1-2 Years in an equipment and/or facility maintenance position.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills:
· Good verbal communication and computer skills.
· Basic electrical diagnosis skills preferred.
· Must be able to work independently with minimum direct supervision.
· Must be able to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Decision Making Examples: Evaluate mechanical and/or electrical failures in production equipment or facility to determine appropriate corrective action including initiation of repairs or soliciting vendor service.
