SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for administering the print and production procurement process, as well as the manufacturing and distribution of assigned SAE’s printed & electronic materials and campaigns (e.g., papers, standards, books, CD’s, direct mail pieces, SAE UPdate, media kits, multimedia, business forms and stationery).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Developing production/manufacturing schedules for assigned SAE’s printed and electronic materials (30%)
· Collecting project specifications for the purpose of collecting accurate pricing for assigned printed material and related graphic services.
· Interacting with vendors to ensure delivery of quality products competitively priced and delivered according to specifications and timetables.
· Resolving manufacturing-related issues ranging from scheduling and delivery problems to corrupted electronic files.
· Contributing to the achievement of customer and organizational goals.
· Additional projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
§ Associates degree in Business, Print Management or related field or equivalent, preferred
§ At least three years of related print management and/or related business experience, required
§ Experience with print production and scheduling, desired
