Printing Production/Customer Service
Printing Production/Customer Service Person for busy print shop in Cherry Hill NJ. As a full-time team player, you will answer the phone, wait on customers, write up & process routine orders and help out in general areas as your workload permits. Daily you will download customer files, manipulate them if necessary [i.e. take one ups and make them multiple ups, etc.], and send them to digital production copier/printers or prepare masters for printing presses. Additionally, we do traditional typesetting for small/medium businesses such as forms, newsletters, flyers, business cards, etc. Often you will modify existing customer files. You need to have a good working knowledge in either QuarkXpress or Adobe InDesign. We run QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite CS3 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional), and PageMaker on both Mac and PC platforms, and Word, Publisher & Excel on the PC. Do NOT apply if you consider yourself a “Gra phic Ar tist” or “Des igner” as we do little of that work and you will not be happy here. No beginners; you MUST have some customer service in a print or copy shop environment; novices and above will have an experienced mentor to back them as you learn more about the digital production workplace of today. Qualified part-time applicants may be considered.
This is NOT a work from home position.
