Job Summary
Confirming that the digital art files are all present, valid, correctly formatted, and of the desired type.Requires in-depth knowledge of desktop publishing applications such as Illustrator.
Responsibilities
Ø Make sure images and graphics embedded by the customer have been provided and are available to the application.
Ø Assure fonts are accessible to the system, not corrupt and are in a compatible format.
Ø Look to see that image files are of the correct color format, resolution and are of formats that the application can process.
Ø Confirm that the page layout document size, margins, bleeds, marks and page information all fit within the constraints of the output device and match the client specifications.
Ø Communicate effectively with supervisor, customers, co-workers, account managers, and all pre-production
Requirements
· 3 to 5 years experience in Adobe CS-3 Software preferred
· Confident user of Mac OS X
· Strong work ethic and organization skills
· Must posses a high level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
· Printing company experience a plus
