PHP Web Developer
Fast moving media company seeks a strong PHP developer who will work with a cross-functional team of product managers, editors, and marketers to rapidly deploy high-quality, community based web products. Responsible for bringing creative ideas to life for our online communities. Duties for this position include all aspects of working in a dynamic, rapid application environment.
Must have track record of 3 to 5 years as web developer, with at least 2 years have worked in PHP as a Web application development. Knowledge of MVC environments and PHP 5.x a key plus. Substantial experience with JavaScript, XML, and DHTML, and hands-on knowledge of at least one of the following database platforms: MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Minimum 3-5 years in commercial web development.
• 1-3 years developing sites using Object-oriented PHP
• Hands on experience in developing dynamic PHP websites using MVC (model, view controller) frameworks.
• Self reliant, strong team player, good communication skills
• Apache, CSS, HTML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, and PHP
• Ability to interface with SQL based databases and do manual queries
