ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE / SALES REP
Southland Publishing is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic salesperson for our Pasadena office. This person will represent three publications; Pasadena Weekly, Arroyo Monthly and Verdugo Monthly. This is a fast-paced and detail driven position. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Positions also available in our Hollywood location with Los Angeles CityBeat or Life After 50 magazine.
Responsibilities include: the sale of print and web advertisements to local businesses; representing our publications and special issues in a professional manner; meeting and exceeding sales goals within territory.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and selling skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a desire to grow with us. Previous sales experience is required; previous media sales experience is a definite plus. Candidate must be comfortable in meeting with and presenting to local and/or national accounts. Must possess own vehicle and valid driver's license.
