New Business Development Rep
We publish daily and weekly newspapers as well as magazines throughout northern N.J. Our daily newspapers, The Record and Herald News, have been serving Bergen and Passaic Counties for over 100 years. Our Community Newspapers, representing 47 weekly and bi-weekly newspaper titles in five counties in North Jersey, include some of the best community newspapers in the state.
As a New Business Development Sales Rep, you will be responsible for growing new business revenue over the telephone and maximizing selling opportunities for classified advertising, directory sales, online and other NJMG products.
Our ideal candidate will have experience meeting and exceeding sales goals by developing sales strategies and opportunities for revenue gains utilizing targeted lead lists, resources from lead-generation software and other media sources.
One to two years’ previous sales experience preferred. Must be goal-driven with strong oral and written communication and excellent customer service skills to be successful in this role.Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm is also required.
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
