Your tasks
The Random House Children's Sales Division is seeking a National Account Manager. Candidate will have an active selling role and will work with publishers, marketing, publicity, and sales to position the Children's Publishing Group. Responsibilities include: maximizing sales growth within the established account base, developing relationships with key customers, creating the development of marketing, advertising, promotional and publicity programs and communicating account information as it relates to appropriate imprints. Duties also include forecasting of key title/imprint performance and participating in title presentations.
Our requirements
Individual must have: excellent communication and presentation skills in addition to excellent product knowledge and understanding of publishing functions. Strong ability to organize, prioritize and schedule workload. Five to seven years experience in publishing and/or book retail sales is needed. Must be a self-starter and self-motivator. Children's experience is preferred.
