Shipping and receiving of all Elsevier packages, customer equipment, and freight. Breakout freight and deliver to various departments in a timely manner. Ensure USPS mail is picked up from Post Office, sort checks & orders for prompt entry into system. Daily mail delivery with 1 hour turn around from time received. Book distribution. Preparation of materials for conventions & sales meetings. Book Returns. Work recycle paper, cardboard, aluminium & plastic cans, print cartridges. Daily monitoring of mail stations in departments, to ensure shipping supplies are stocked, incoming and outgoing materials are not mixed, maintain orderly appearance. Order & maintain Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, USPS shipping supplies for mail room & company use. Order & maintain company letterhead, labels, and various envelopes. Daily monitoring of walk up print stations, to maintain proper supplies of paper & toner, maintain appearance. Maintain reports on delivered & problem packages. Maintain Sales Rep address profile changes in Fed-Ex, UPS, and DHL systems. Respond to E-mails and phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction.Qualifications High school diploma / GED, Knowledge of computerized shipping systems & shipping terms, Knowledge of computers (Word,Excel,E-Mail), Prior mail room experience, good customer service and communication skills,good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize, ability to lift 70lbs, familiar with pallet jack and hand carts, valid drivers license.Other Information The preferred level of education for this position is HS Graduate or Equivalent.Closing Statement We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package as well as a real opportunity for career growth in a growing organization.
