Working in our Web Publishing Technology Group as a Knowledge Management Specialist, you will work primarily to support the definition and execution of knowledge management projects, principally in the area of taxonomy development.  The development entails working with the business to understand their taxonomic needs, implementing taxonomies to meet those needs, defining processes for applying these taxonomies to content, supporting the implementation of technology to aid these processes, and working with the delivery application teams to consider how best to utilize the resulting taxonomies and taxonomized content. 

 

 

Requirements 

 Understanding of taxonomies, organization, and classification systems.Proven project management leadership skills and utilization of standard PM processes and tools.Good working knowledge of software and systems development cycles.Familiarity with key information architecture concepts.Strong familiarity with basic web standards (file formats, directory structures, page loads, etc.).Highly organized and detail oriented.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to engage with others to extract business requirements.
