Internet Marketing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨  Work with product marketing teams to manage consumer engagement through specific online marketing initiatives. Serve as primary contact for one or more product groups to facilitate effective online marketing strategy.

¨  Project manage external technology partner relationships in conjunction with internal resources to insure on-time and on-budget delivery of new products/capabilities.

¨  Further Zondervan’s initiative of engaging consumers through a variety of social networks, blogs, and Web 2.0 tactics.

¨  Create emails (HTML and text) and Web pages, database/email list maintenance, and coordinate with staff to ensure proper setup, testing, deployment and tracking of email/online campaigns.

¨  Drive the development of search engine optimization.

¨  Develop and track usage metrics and identify trends across several properties and use this data to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend enhancements to optimize revenue potential.

¨  Develop and maintain content on various Web sites.

¨  Work with digital media files (audio, video) in coordination with social networking initiatives.


KNOWLEDGE:

¨  Bachelor’s degree (concentration in marketing, advertising,  
communications, computer science) or equivalent. 

¨  Minimum of 3 years experience managing and executing
online marketing strategies. 

¨  Good working knowledge of HTML and various online
programming languages. 

¨  Experience developing/presenting content and managing
requirements for web design.

¨  Experience with web site creation including content
management and programming. 

¨  Experience with audio and video editing software. 

¨  Familiarity with web analytics standards.

¨  Familiarity with email marketing best practices.


SKILLS:

¨  At least 2 years SEO and SEM experience.

¨  Experience in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.

¨  Experience with a variety of social networking applications.

¨  Experience working with databases.

¨  Experience working with audio and/or video recording
and editing.  

¨  Familiarity with rich media applications (Flash, etc), design,
and best practices.   

¨  Familiarity and experience with photo/image editing
applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

¨  Strong project management background.

¨  Excellent written and verbal communication.

¨  Copywriting experience. 

¨  Experience and ability to work cross departmentally
