Inside Sales Representative - Strategic Accounts

Acco Brands Inc., a global leader in office products is currently looking to add a Strategic Account Inside Sales Representative to it's Document Finishing Group Division (GBC).  The Inside Sales Representative - Strategic Accounts, is the day to day  inside contact for designated Strategic Account customers and purchasers of all laminating supplies and desktop equipment for GBC.  This position sells into the Strategic Account marketplace to the following accounts:  Fed Ex Office, Office Depot, Thomas Reprographics and Alphagraphics.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospects in order to hit assigned targets. Maintain current list of top account locations and prospects for laminating supplies and equipment. Effectively plan sales activities daily, weekly and monthly to obtain maximum performance that focuses on customers and prospects. Contact non-customers be sending out mailings and making contacts by phone, following up on referrals from trade shows and other customers or contacts within GBC. Educate our customers on the value potential of GBC's products.  Understand their business so that you can partner with the customer to make business recommendations that expand their levels of service and help them maximize their profit opportunities. Expand relationships within current accounts by leveraging leads from within the company and cross-selling additional products. Convert leads in to closed sales, maintaining price and terms desirable to GBC. Maintain up to date understanding of GBC's products and services and properly demonstrate and/or explain them to the customer. Craft proposals that solve customer problems. Ensure smooth order processing by processing customer orders while customer is on the phone. Work closely with Customer Service Department to resolve issues (tracking packages, RMA's and credits) while remaining single point of contact for customers. Follow-up, as needed by phone, to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist other sales representatives within the GBC sales force as needed in order to maximize the sale of GBC lamination film and equipment. Perform other duties as needed. College degree or equivalent sales or business experience required.  Prefer degree and 1+ years of sales experience. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Must be able to sell using margin analysis and return on investment analysis if required. Effective in interpersonal communications and problem solving.  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to sell ideas and services.
