Inside Account Executive

The Dallas Morning News currently has an opening for an Inside Account Executive. This position is responsible for selling into the recruitment section of the paper as well as selling Yahoo! Hotjobs. This position will sell recruitment products over the phone to current and new customers.



Min. B.A. or B.S. or equivalent experience

2 years previous sales or advertising experience, preferably in media.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Ability to communicate effectively with customers utilizing the telephone; Ability to utilize computer terminal with accuracy and adequate speed; Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills; Entrepreneurial spirit.

Strong organizational and prospecting skills; Strong understanding of the Internet and its marketing potential for advertisers; Must have the ability to work under pressure with assigned deadlines; Ability to interact productively and positively with fellow employees and all levels of management; Ability to establish outstanding rapport with clients; Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills; Must be highly self-motivated and maintain solid work ethic; Must be a team player.
