IT Generalist
Description:
We are a small department of four individuals handling all aspects of IT for the US region. This includes tasks from resetting end-user passwords and rotating back-up tapes to providing end-user training and patch management. From building & maintaining workstations & servers to planning, managing & implementing minor & vital projects. From researching equipment & technologies to designing & implementing network infrastructures. We are looking to fill the position of IT Generalist with someone experienced, skilled and versatile enough to share the workload with two others of the same title. A team player who will be as comfortable and capable of handling fundamental and administrative tasks, as well as the more skill required and extremely challenging projects. An opportunity to join a lively team and work closely with them as you put your skills into practice and continue building on them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years experience in similar environment
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Certified
- Systems: Windows NT/2000/2003 Server, VMWare VI3, Windows XP, DOS, LINUX, SAN
- Networking: DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SNMP, VPN, FTP
- Software: Active Directory Group Policy, VMWare
- Preferred: Lotus Notes, Office Suite, Systems Mgmt Server, RSA/Cisco VPN, Symantec Backup Exec., McAfee/Norton Anti-Virus, Citrix Client, Visual Basic 4, SQL, ITIL Cert./Training
