Graphic Designer
Greenleaf Book Group is seeking a junior-level graphic designer with design and composition experience, as well as skills in web design and html. Responsibilities include:* Creating content-appropriate and market-appropriate designs for book covers and interiors* Assist in design and maintenance of the company website* HTML/Text email newsletter* Banner advertising* Flash presentations and rich media ads* Online graphic imagery including buttons, icons, etc.* Working closely with printer representatives to prepare and submit files that meet the printers' requirements* Working with the production team to continually assess processes andprocedures to improve the quality and efficiency of service to clients Requirements:* Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, MacromediaDreamweaver & Flash, HTML, Illustrator, and other software commonlyused in the book production industry * Experience preparing print materials for press* Understanding of internet design issues (use of color, image optimization and format, etc)* Bachelor's degree* The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlinesThis is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with afun team of individuals in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
