Finance Manager, Advertising
Boston Globe Media is seeking a Finance Manager, who will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, capital analysis, customer and product-line analysis and decision support for our advertising team.
In this highly visible position reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will work closely with business leaders in advertising company-wide on a wide-ranging set of financial and advertising issues. Additionally, you will participate in the development of the organization’s annual and long-term plans, generate performance reports and analysis and be responsible for improving the management reporting of the organization.
Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of progressive financial analysis and management experience with an MBA, or 8+ years without
· Large company experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment preferable
· Proven excellence in margin analysis, financial modeling, and variance analysis and reporting.
· Strong organization, leadership and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead projects to conclusion
· Excellent PC skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint are required.
· Substantial experience with Hyperion Essbase required and exposure to other Hyperion Products (Analyzer, Planner) extremely helpful.
