Field Marketing Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join one of the world's most prestigious publishing companies as the Regional Mathematics Marketing Specialist for higher education. Working in conjunction with the math product team, you will develop and execute successful marketing campaigns and sales strategies. You will increase the sales of key titles by identifying, tracking, and developing strategies to secure key adoptions. You will lead in the development of technology selling strategies. You will provide information to the product team on market trends and work with the team to develop future titles and technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires: (1) a minimum of a bachelor’s degree; (2) two or more years of demonstrated sales/marketing success in college publishing; (3) a thorough understanding of the college textbook sales process, college bookstore operations, and math curricula; (4) excellent computer skills and familiarity with demonstrating and selling key software packages; (5) excellent communications (verbal and written) and relationship building skills; and (6) the ability and willingness to travel extensively.
