Texterity, Inc. is a fast growing provider of digital media conversion technology and services to the publishing industry. We have a long record of delivering successful solutions to our customers. Our Published Web Format (PWF) is based on core technology that has been time-tested. Customers use our solution to provide digital distribution of consumer and business magazines to their readers.

We're looking for an aggressive, organized and web-aware salesperson to sell digital delivery magazine services to business-to-business, consumer and association publishers. This person will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, handling inbound leads, and making direct calls via telephone and in-person to magazine publishers in North America.

Primary Responsibilities include: Identifying leads using market data and research Cold calling potential publishing customers Identifying prospect’s goals and objectives for digital delivery of their magazinesPresenting our solution to interested parties – in person, on the telephone and via webinarsObtaining demo files and closing sales Responding to customer or prospect inquiries Staffing and selling new business at various trade shows throughout the yearMaintaining salesforce.com databaseExceeding quarterly sales quotaWorking effectively with Account Managers, Project Managers and Senior Management

Required Skills and Experience:

· Excellent communication skills - both oral and in writing

· Strong customer service skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), Salesforce.com, Internet Explorer and/or Mozilla Firefox

· Personable, self-motivated, flexible, entrepreneurial and a team player

· At least two years of magazine publishing industry experience (e.g. circulation, ad sales or production) or sales to association executives

· Four year college degree

· Ability to work effectively from a home office in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to travel (on occasion) to major prospects/clients in other parts of the country

The chosen candidate will possess a solid record of achievement in sales and will reside in and be responsible for selling new business in the greater Washington, DC area. In addition, other prospects/accounts in various categories will be assigned outside of this region. A competitive salary and commission plan, along with an excellent benefits package (including equity), will be offered to the successful candidate.
