Aerotek Professional Services Location: Reston, VA 20191 Salary: USD 45,000.00 /year Position Type: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Editorial/Writing Desktop Publisher  Job Description: Operates a personal computer to input text and exhibits used in proposals, reports, briefings, and internal documents.Formats documents in any formats that is specifically required by the client or RFP.Prints/formats files using Excel or Microsoft Project.Proofs work and assists in training new word processing staff.Refers hardware and software problems to the computer support group.Changes toner cartridges on laser printers in Production.Handles calls from the Technical staff on Word, Powerpoint, Excel or Visio.Notifies manager and assists on improvements to format, templates, orprocesses.Reports problems with files or equipment immediately to production management.Scans documents and burn CD's for staff, when needed.Performs other duties as may be assigned by management. Required Skills: High School diploma or equivalent cert, Proficiency with Microsoft word 2000/XP, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, Preferred qualifications include some college education and five or more years of experience of on-the-job experience within the last three years of proforming word processing/desktop publishing, Ability to quickly learn other software and hardware programs, Detail-Oriented, Ability to type 65 wpm, Frequent daily and weekend, Excellent organizational skills, Must have written and verbal communication skills, Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-orented work environment, Must be able to muti-tasks, Work as a team player and as well independently, Ability to train new word processors on various software programs used by the Proposal CenterJoin Aerotek Professional Services.
