Customer Service Support Representative
Dover Publications, a subsidiary of Courier Corporation, is a niche publisher with over 9,000 titles in print. We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Support Representative. The Customer Service Support Representative is responsible for supporting internal and external customers of Dover Publications. Essential responsibilities include: customer relations, order entry and problem resolution. The Customer Service Support Representative will have in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.
Job duties include:
1. Interacting with customers via phone, mail and internet regarding products, orders and Order Entry needs.
2. Providing timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
3. Processing customer orders, changes and returns according to policy and procedure. May involve in-house credit card processing.
4. Reconciling credit card payments from consumer and trade customers. This includes maintenance of monthly credit card reports.
5. Assisting in open order resolution by using reporting in place to identify and notify customer when pre-paid orders are short-paid.
6. Handling all customers in a professional manner.
7. Partnering with Sales team to provide customers with services as outlined in the Order Entry policies and procedures.
Qualified candidates will have:HS Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in an Order Entry environmentComputer experience including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and internetStrong customer orientationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work within a team
