Controller - FT- Full Charge for a growing business.
CONTROLLER – Clifton, NJ based full service commercial printer seeks full-time, full-charge, knowledgeable, experienced computer-literate CONTROLLER. Only those with prior diversified experience including work with job costing, multi-cost/profit center financial statements, cash flows and budget planning need apply. Responsibilities also include interaction and communication with owners, financial institution, vendors and customers as well as managing a staff of 2-3 employees that make up our accounting department. Company offers excellent working conditions and benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience. Prior printing industry experience and/or knowledge of PrintPoint software is a plus.
The candidate will have full responsibility for:
1. Management and supervision of accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and bookkeeping; including the management of 2-3 employees within their department.
2. Preparation of all financial statements and analysis of results;
3. Preparation of budgets on an individual departmental level and overall for the Company;
4. Design, management and execution of all inventory control and management procedures;
5. Payroll and benefits administration;
The Candidate ideally will have the following qualifications:
• BS with emphasis in Finance
• CPA Certified Preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial management.
• Knowledge of major accounting systems
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with team building techniques.
• Knowledge of all facets of print operations: financial, sales, and production is a plus but not necessary
