Classified Sales Manager – Patriot Ledger and Brockton Enterprise
Based in Randolph, MA
GateHouse Media New England is seeking to hire a Classified Sales Manager for the Patriot Ledger and Brockton Enterprise. The position is located in our Randolph sales office. Responsibilities include managing and training two existing classified sales departments comprised of approximately 17 inside sales representatives and 2 outside sales representatives. The manager is responsible for day to day business and all revenue for these classified products. This manager is expected to coach, manage performance, and do sales training to improve sales performance. The manager is also responsible for analyzing market trends, rates, pricing strategies, sales proposals, and new business ideas.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and sales management and sales training are required. Ability to manage performance and create and direct sales initiatives is also required. Ideal candidate will have experience in the media industry. Local market knowledge a plus.
