Classified Advertising Sales Representative
CK Media, a leader in enthusiast magazine publishing, is seeking a qualified Classified Advertising Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have customer service, sales, marketing, and writing or copyediting experience. This position requires a positive attitude and good problem solving, organization and communication skills. The Classified Advertising Sales Representative will be expected to meet or exceed sales goals and will work closely with the ad sales, marketing, production, and accounting teams to ensure stellar client service, correct and complete ad copy, and accurate reporting and billing.
Essential Duties:
 Service existing classified advertising accounts for 8 quilting and sewing titles using Ad System and Microsoft Works Track magazine deadlines and supply classified ad text to production department in a timely manner Proofread all classified ad pages Maintain and build client databases Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new customers Generate accurate sales reports Troubleshoot reader complaints regarding classified ads Collaborate with accounting team to solve problems or discrepancies with client accounts Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
 1-3 years related work experience or education Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills Experience with basic computer programs including MSWord/Works and Excel

 Demonstrated ability to track and meet deadlines Skill in observing numeric and grammatical details Demonstrated ability to learn new work processes and computer programs quickly Ability to self-motivate and work independently Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, workload, and workflow Positive attitude, good judgment and good problem solving skills
