Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Location: Chicago Job Description Business Development Mgr (Digital Print Solutions) - Central Region JOB DESCRIPTION The Business Development Specialist supports Kodak's MarketMover Business Development Program by helping Kodak NexPress users develop and grow their digital color print business. This is accomplished by providing consulting support to NexPress owners and management on business plans, strategies, and training of customer's sales teams on new digital printing applications and opportunities, providing on-going marketing consulting and sales support. The Business Development Specialist works closely with the Kodak sales organization in providing with pre and post sale support activities. In addition the Business Development Specialist should help drive print volumes of NexPress clients. The candidate must also support the delivery and use of the Kodak MarketMover content and tools used to for customer training and support. A strong understanding of the application benefits of Digital Printing, Short run color, Variable Data and Web-to-Print is required along with an understand profiles of various market segments that fit our digital printing products & solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently, in connection with the NexPress sales and solutions team, including but not restricted to demonstration support, training and application development for digital printing equipment. Works extensively with sales teams and end users, utilizing all available resources and channels to maximize revenue potential and margins. Responsible for driving increase in total customer satisfaction and their average monthly print volumes. Works with Regional staff and Marketing to develop and implement sales support tools including, collateral materials, show and event coordination, association participation and digital marketing campaigns. Responsible for developing and delivering trade show presentations as well as supporting association events when appropriate. Supports the development of audio/ video/ CD/Web outputs on variety of developmental tools such as variable data printing, digital printing benefits to increase our market share Supports plans that enable Digital Printing to gain entry into Corporate, education, government, data center, healthcare, financial and other vertical markets. Responsible for understanding and articulating the corporate/digital marketing goals and objectives. Responsible for marketing programs and tools to be used to build customer awareness for the NexPress solutions This is a field-based client facing position that supports the Digital Print sales team in the Central Region. Candidates can be located in IL, MI, MN, or OH, and must be able and willing to travel up to 60% of the time. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum of five years experience in Commercial Print/Graphic Arts industry; Sales experience preferred Knowledge of commercial digital print technologies, equipment, and workflow solutions is required. Must have knowledge of commercial digital printing marketing strategies, sales and industry trends. Experience in training implementation, consulting and client marketing programs is required Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
