Reader's Digest Association (RDA) is a global multi-brand media and marketing company that educates, entertains and connects audiences around the world. We publish 92 magazines globally, including 50 in-country editions of our flagship publication, Reader's Digest magazine, and 42 other special interest magazines. DescriptionResponsible for being the sales and client service professional selling Weekly Reader Custom Publishing and Weekly Reader Research services in the Washington DC area. Clients include Fortune 500 corporations, trade associations, government agencies, not-for-profits, and public relations/promotion agencies. Duties include: Prospecting, setting up appointments, making in-person sales calls, creating follow-up proposals, closing sales, maintaining contact with all previous and current accounts in territory and calling on new accounts; Provide monthly Sales Pipeline report, weekly in-field activity report and annual Sales Forecasts for the territory.Required Skills
Strong relationship building skills and entrepreneurial drive a must.Exceptional presentation and communication/writing skills. Ability to organize, plan, report effectively, service existing clients, initiate new accounts and maintain active accounts.Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.Required Experience
