Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates editorial production of web sites, e-mail newsletters and other digital media to supplement and support the company’s print publications. Monitors competitors’ web sites, e-mail newsletters and other digital media and makes recommendations to assure that the company’s offerings compare favorably. Helps develop and test new digital products and services. Executes assigned site sections, integration and cross-promotion of online content with magazines, newsstands, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Repurposes published content and creates original content for web sites, e-mail newsletters and other digital media. Monitors customer response to digital media and recommends appropriate actions to meet the needs of current customers and attract new customers.Monitors competitors’ web sites, e-mail newsletters and other digital media and recommends ways to assure that the company’s offerings compare favorably.Helps develop and test new digital products and services.Understands SEO practices, and optimizes content for target keywords. Works with print and editorial departments to create supporting online contentPrepares editorial content for TeamSite content management system, adding HTML coding as necessaryProactively seeks new content opportunities within RDA-Milwaukee and externally to ensure content is fresh, accurate and relevant.Liaises with product, marketing, operations and other departments as needed in the development of world class content.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.3-5 years proven writing/editing experience.
