Assistant Analyst

The Assistant Analyst will be expected to enter data and spreadsheets into the information system used by Borders in a timely manner.

This position is located in Ann Arbor, MI, but reports to our NJ office. It is a part-time position and the individual will be required to work at least 2 afternoons a week until 5:30pm.


Position Purpose

Enter data into the Borders systems in a timely manner.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Key Title Card data into spreadsheets and upload.



Edit, upload and track e E-Cats.



Create catalogs for buyers and send Title by Buyer (TBB) Reports to publishers.



Research AP claims.



Maintain informative and accurate tracking reports.



Assist in special projects.





Knowledge and Abilities



Computer experience and a working knowledge of the Internet.



Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access



Research and Proofreading skills



Excellent interpersonal skills.



Excellent oral and written communication skills.



High degree of attention to detail.



Good time management and task prioritizing skills are necessary





Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure



Some College background (Liberal Arts) preferred



Publishing, Bookstore or Library experience helpful





Language Skills

Excellent understanding of English language, oral and written
