Advertising Coordinator

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to coordinate the processing and trafficking of print and Internet sales products and related materials from inception to completion. This individual will also process data forms and enter data into appropriate databases.

 

Responsibilities

· Track and maintain received data and source documents.

· Prepare and sort source documents, as well as identify and interpret data to be entered.

· Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data to be entered.

· Contact preparers of source documents regarding questions, inconsistencies or missing data.

· Enter alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source documents into database following formats displayed on screen; enter necessary codes.

· Compare entered data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format on screen to detect errors; make necessary corrections.

· Review error reports and enter corrections into database.

· Transmit entered information into database.

· Perform daily processing and report generation.

· File and/or route source documents.

· Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.

· Generate data verification reports from billing system.

· Monitor job progress and direct processing scheduling to meet client and media deadlines.

· Support other positions and provide sales assistance to the Rep team as needed.

· Assist in preparing and updating Policies and Procedures documentation.

· Provide backup for data entry on other support databases.

· Research billing or invoice inquiries.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ related experience/training. Must be computer literate in database, word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, Internet, and contact management software, as well as proprietary systems as assigned.
