As our Account Manager you will be the primary client interface that is responsible for managing the daily activities of the account and developing project plans in support of the client's strategy. You will have exceptional skills in maintaining positive client relations and have accountability for ensuring work performed is accurate and timely. This is an experienced level position that is essential in helping Vertis Communications achieve superior customer satisfaction and drive company profitability. The position can be located in Clifton Park, NY, Greenville, SC, Sacramento, CA or Chicago, IL. Relocation assistance may be available for this position.If you have at least three years experience in newspaper buying/analytics, proven success in providing leadership, training and developing staff, attaining superior customer satisfaction while also driving company profitability, this is the position you have been looking for! Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (Business, Advertising, Communications) or higher education with 4 years newspaper experience and/or account management experience. Additional requirements are as follows: One year Leadership/supervisory experience with proven success in providing professional, training, development and day to day instruction to staff. Minimum 3 years experience in newspaper buying/analytics and account management. Familiarity with industry data sources such as Claritas, ESRI, Simmons, MRI, Scarborough, Dun & Bradstreet Preferred requirements: Experience in developing new business strategies.
