Live-In Nanny
Warm and loving family in Bloomfield Hills, MI, seeks a full-time, live-in Nanny who will compliment the family and enhance the child's upbringing. The 12,000 square foot home is located in affluent Bloomfield Hills with an outdoor year round swimming pool. Two full-time, live-in nannies are employed by the family so a rotational schedule is easy to work out that is amicable. A private room w/ private bath is provided for each nanny and a car is provided for transportation while on duty.
Ideal candidate will be kind and loving, someone who truly loves and enjoys children, with some college or continued education background in child development and/or childcare/education. The child is four and a half years old, attends pre-Kindergarten in the afternoons, and is gregarious and exceptionally bright.
Responsibilities:
- Management of child's tutor schedule (swim coach, spanish instructor, piano and voice lessons)
-Transport to and from school and/or other activities (tennis lessons and swim team practice during the summer)
-Clean up after self and child
- Prepare meals for self and child when on duty
- General care and well-being of child, educational activities and interactive play
- Other activities as requested.
Requirements:
-International travel is a requirement of this position as the family travels often, so a passport is required for employment. (Family owns private jet and you stay in the finest hotels and resorts)
- Prior nanny and/or childcare experience.
- Prior experience living away from home.
- Valid Michigan Drivers License.
- Must pass a background check and willingly provide drivers license number and social number for check to be performed.
Prefer:
- College education and/or continuing education in child development and/or elementary education
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Non Smoker
