Office Coordinator
Whittier Filtration Inc., a Division of Veolia Water Solutions &Technologies (VWS) is currently seeking an Office Coordinator to work in our Santa Fe Springs, CA office.
Whittier Filtration, Inc. specializes in water treatment filters and filtration systems for a variety of industrial processes. The Auto-Jet, Leau Claire and Auto-Pulse are just a few of our unique systems installed in chemical processing, food and beverage and mining facilities. Whittier Filtration also provides specialty ion exchange and media filters.
Duties for this position include (but not limited to): A minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles.Responsible for all mailroom activities including shipping, receiving, and distributing all mail/packages.Maintain all office equipment, ordering of all office supplies and kitchen related supplies and services.Assist with Administrative coverage and overload.Assist with meeting setup, coordination of conferences, in addition to other miscellaneous responsibilities. Support Marketing activities (tradeshows, advertisement, press releases, and website maintenance).Support Human Resources managerTo support Sales Management activities related to Customer Relationship Management database maintenance, and sales activities reporting.
Candidates must possess:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem solving and creativity, approaching situations proactively.High level of organization.Computer literacy. Knowledge of MS Office required. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (e.g. JD Edwards) is a plusWorking experience with CRM tools (e.g. ACT!) is a plus.
