Exposition Sales Manager

Expoships, a rapidly expanding exposition firm seeks sophisticated event sales managers for its Naples and Miami, Florida based sales offices. Sales managers will sell exhibit space for Haute Miami, the first uber-luxe fair of its kind in the United States as well as exhibit space aboard the specially built Grand Luxe - a 228’ purpose-built exposition vessel.  At 228 feet, SeaFair is the 4th largest private yacht in America. Exhibits feature contemporary and vintage fashion, jewelry, art & antiques, design, exquisite gardens, exotic yachts, airplanes, personal helicopters, new technology in many forms, an emphasis on “going green� including solar powered vehicles and much more.

 

 

Job Description:

 

The event sales manager will sell exhibition space to potential clients. Expoships maintains a roster of shipboard exhibitors to include multiple sectors of the luxury goods and services market including those featuring fashion, jewelry, transportation (planes, automobiles and yachts) and other products appealing to affluent buyers. Expoships’s goal is to attract screened potential clients each week serving our clients, the purveyors.

 

The sales professional will be responsible for assisting the development of sales strategies, proposals and presentations for existing and new accounts, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding client’s sales strategies through Expoships participation. The goal of Expoships tenancy is to target new markets and expand client bases in order to meet each exhibitor’s sales and marketing objectives.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  At least 7 years of exposition or relevant sales experience Maintain a personal level of sophistication commensurate with the brand at all times Independently implements organization sales and sales marketing plans A successful track record of establishing sales goals, and the proven ability meet or exceed those goals Communicates all marketing strategies and sales efforts to different departments throughout organization Multi-lingual ability is an asset
